Text to speech fine-tuned locally on my own voice using Coqui, running on my M1 MacBook.

Another rabbit hole, this time on a topic close to my heart: coffee. After setting up a gaggia classic from 2003, I wanted to confirm why it truly was a financially reasonable decision, in addition to making wicked coffee. So I built a simple visualization to find out.

Based on a smart switch, the system counts every time the machine is turned on, logging it as 1 coffee. It also has the current bean I am using and its cost per KG estimating a rough cost per cup which I benchmark against rough coffee prices in Stockholm, which allows me to see a break even on machine and grinder, with both fixed and variable costs.

Give it a try :)
